Overview

The 7Days/6Nights Safari focuses on safari game drives in three National Parks, with most of the days set to Explore in Deep the Legendary Serengeti National Park. Measuring 14,760 sq km Serengeti Park present a number of distinctive topographical areas from Lakes, Rivers, Savannah planes, Acacia Woodlands, to thousands of African Wildlife, all of which this itinerary is designed for you to explore. Certainly the highlight of this package is the Annual animal migration, where you will get a chance to witness thousands and thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and Gazelles in a chase for fresh pastures and water. In the recent years the conventional migration pattern has been varying slightly and sometimes with major deviations due to changes in weather patterns. We have thus designed this package for you to explore the most secluded corners of the Serengeti such that you can always catch up with the Wildebeest Migration wherever it is in the Serengeti. All the nights will be spent in Safari Lodges, some strategically located on the path of the Migratory animals, with each offering a unique style and experience.

Itinerary

Day 1 –Lake Manyara Park:

After breakfast at 8.00am you will start driving to Tarangire Park. Enjoy your Game Drive with your experienced driver guide with wealth of knowledge of the Park‘s Animals, Birds and Flora. Tarangire National park is famously known for its big herds of Giant Elephants, Ancient Boab trees and more than 500 different birds species. At Lunch you will drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge located inside the park for a delicious cuisine. Shortly after lunch you will leave the lodge for an afternoon game drive then drive to Migunga Tented Lodge located in the midst of the African Bush, for dinner and a peaceful night.

Day 2– Serengeti National Park:

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park – optional via (Olduvai Gorge) which has been made famous by the anthropological Leakey, this anthropologist’s dream is where the origins of man are said to have emerged. Proceed with game viewing en-route to Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or Seronera Wildlife Lodge in order to stay overnight on Full Board basis

Day 3 – Serengeti National Park:

After Breakfast at the camp or lodge,This day your guide will take you on a game drive in the northern part of the park called the Northern Corridor one of the forgotten corners of the park used by most of the animals during the up and down Migration periods. The corridor also supports a wide variety of resident animals such as Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras and Gazelles. In the evening you then drive to Kogatende Mbugani Camp Or Serengeti Heritage Kogatende Camp located in the most scenario of wildlife, where you will take your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 –Serengeti National Park:

Optional – you can wake up at 06:00 and then begin the Sunrise game viewing followed by late branch at 11:00. Around 15:30 continue with Evening game viewing for the rest of the day Or Breakfast at the camp and pick up the lunch box heading for full day game drive. Stay Dinner and overnight stay at Kogatende Mbugani Camp Or Serengeti Heritage Kogatende Camp on Full Board basis.

Day 5– Serengeti National Park:

After beautiful breakfast at the camp continue with the game drive all the way to central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight Stay at Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or Seronera heritage camp on full board base

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour:

After breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro for descending the Crater in order to spend a half day exploring the short–grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games. Later in the afternoon you will ascend the crater walls and proceed to Alleins Lodge or Bougainvillea Safari Lodge Karatu in order to stay overnight on Full Board basis.

Day 7– Tarangire National Park:

After breakfast, enter the Tarangire National Park and spend a full day game drive. Picnic lunches will be taken with you at the park, followed by an afternoon game drives. Drive through the parks’ varied landscape, which is scattered with huge baobabs trees and home to herds of elephants. Late in the afternoon you will drive back to Arusha where you will be staying overnight at Tulia Spa and Lodge on Bed and Breakfast basis.
